Conveyor Metal Detectors for Packaging Lines

LEKA Pack Line (lekapackline.com) conveyor metal detectors LK-910K and LK-818 find Fe / Non-Fe / SUS on belt-fed packs along packaging and food lines. Tunnel height options and empty-machine sensitivity are catalog references—not rated or guaranteed on-product values. Confirm aperture, reject method and line speed during project review.

On the packaging line

Where it sits

Often after filling/capping or before case packing, depending on metal lids and QA rules. For foil packs use the aluminum foil metal detector. For non-metal foreign objects see food X-ray inspection. Upstream: bottle packaging line.

Boundary: A conveyor metal detector finds conductive metal contaminants in packs on a belt. It is not a foil-pack specialist (see LK-807) and does not replace X-ray for glass or ceramic.
About LEKA Pack Line / catalog references

LEKA Pack Line (lekapackline.com) supplies LK-910K and LK-818 conveyor metal detectors for online Fe / Non-Fe / SUS detection on belt-fed packs. Tunnel height options span about H 100–350 mm (custom). Empty-machine sensitivity figures are not rated or guaranteed values; match line speed and confirm by product test during project review.

LK-910K

Touch-screen conveyor metal detector for bottles, cartons, plastic bags, and paper boxes after non-metal packaging. The coil is sealed. It stores 200 products, learns automatically, keeps 100 batch reports after power loss, and drops 32,768 detail reports when power is lost. A start delay shields the motor from site interference. This table is for the standalone LK-910K. The LK-910K-XP210 combo uses its own table.

What metal detection finds

Detectable metals

Conveyor metal detectors are for metallic contaminants — typically iron (Fe) and stainless (SUS). They are not X-ray systems and do not claim ceramic, glass, bone, or stone detection.

Catalog reference images. Empty-machine Fe/SUS figures on this page remain theoretical no-product references — actual detectable size depends on product, packaging, and line conditions and is confirmed during project review.

Empty-machine (no-product) reference sensitivity for each model at stated tunnel H×W. Larger tunnel heights reduce empty-machine reference sensitivity (catalog tables extend to ~350 mm H). Empty-machine (no-product) reference sensitivity figures are theoretical references without product effect; actual detectable size depends on product, packaging, and line conditions and is confirmed during project review. Reject: optional / customized (pusher, flap, air).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What metals can a conveyor metal detector find (Fe, Non-Fe, SUS)?

Conveyor metal detectors are configured for ferromagnetic (Fe), non-ferrous, and 304 stainless (SUS) reference spheres under empty-machine conditions. Actual performance depends on product effect, tunnel height, and packaging.

Why does tunnel height change empty-machine sensitivity?

Larger tunnel apertures generally reduce empty-machine reference sensitivity. Catalog tables list Fe / Non-Fe / SUS by tunnel height; pick height from product height plus clearance, then confirm with samples.

Can I treat catalog figures as on-product performance?

Empty-machine (no-product) reference sensitivity figures are theoretical references without product effect; actual detectable size depends on product, packaging, and line conditions and is confirmed during project review.
